About Me
I am the middle child in a family with two younger brothers and two older sisters, and I also have a cat. I grew up in East London and still live there. I graduated with a degree in Early Years last year. My course aligned closely with the career path I wanted to pursue, allowing me to develop the skills, knowledge, and understanding needed to work in childcare. I currently work in a primary school from Wednesday to Friday in the nursery, supporting children aged 3–4. I have also previously worked in a private nursery with children ranging from 6 months to 4 years old.
My Experience
I have gained extensive experience working with young children across a range of early years settings. I have worked in private nurseries with children aged from 6 months to 4 years, where I supported children’s development through play-based learning, routines, and care. I am currently working in a primary school nursery, supporting children aged 3–4 and contributing to their learning, social development, and early education within a school environment.
I graduated with a degree in Early Years, which provided me with a strong theoretical foundation alongside practical skills. Throughout my studies, I completed placement experiences in nursery settings, allowing me to apply theory to practice and develop confidence working with young children. In addition, I work as a nanny alongside my main role, caring for children aged 1–4 and supporting their daily routines, learning, and wellbeing in a home environment.
