I am the middle child in a family with two younger brothers and two older sisters. In addition, I have a 6-month-old kitten. I grew up in East London and still live there now. I am in my second year of university studying Early Years!This subject relates to the exact path I want to take, so I'm learning all of the skills, knowledge, and understanding I'll need to get into childcare jobs. My future plans include obtaining a nannying position and caring for young children while working alongside their parents/caregivers.
My Experience
When babysitting within families, I was frequently required to care for my younger sibling for at least 3-5 hours four days a week while my parents went about their business. I would pick him up from school and be in charge of changing him, cleaning him, preparing meals, dropping him off at arabic classes, engaging in conversation with him, and discussing his day at school. After dropping him off, I would clean the house and make sure everything was ready for when he returned.
