Mother's Help Needed! :) For Lovely Family With 1M Old And 5Yr Old In Winkfield
About Me
Ambie: Our son Ambrose “Ambie” is 1 month old. He has had issues feeding but happily for now has no specific care requirements. He is breastfed by Georgie who is a full-time Mum
Gussie: Our daughter Augusta “Gussie” is 5 years old. She is a wonderful, big character - outgoing and exuberant, but also sensitive and kind. She is in Reception year, normally at school from 8:30 to 3:30. She loves to play indoors and outdoors, and is currently facing the transition from Reception to Year 1 in terms of play-based to structured learning. She is currently on holiday, Summer Term is 20 April to 7 July, and Autumn Term is 2 September to 11 December.
A bit about us!
Georgie: Full time Mum. Will be at home much of the time, and looking for someone with a sense of fun who is willing to work as a team with her.
Sam: Father. In the office Mondays & Thursdays as a minimum and occasionally travels for work, but works from home the rest of the time.
As a family we are outdoorsy and adventurous, but also like to spend time at home together - we have a spacious garden and loads of resources for at-home play e.g mud kitchen and overstocked playroom!
My Requirements
‘Mother’s Help’
We are looking for someone who is happy to look after our children and their environment just as we do. So, the role includes both childcare and household tasks including keeping the laundry, kitchen, and play areas in order.
During term time, this will be looking after Ambie and the house. Then with Gussie home during the holidays, we hope this person will be able to:
- Provide academic support. Knowledge of phonics and early maths is important.
- Lead play activities with energy, joyfulness and creativity. Including for example crafting, educational play, and physical play in the garden.
In terms of ‘character’ we are looking for a warm, trustworthy and cheerful person. They should be gentle, attentive and caring when looking after Ambrose. With household tasks they should be proactive and conscientious as we are, getting stuck in and looking after the house without waiting for direction. We hope this ‘mother’s help’ will be friendly and chatty with us, unphased by everyday tasks beside childcare, gentle with Ambie, and patient with Gus (even with her selective hearing!).
***3 days a week, 7:45am to 4:30pm. No difference from term time to school holidays.*** Sam is in the office Monday and Thursday as a minimum, so particularly looking for help on those days.
