I have been working with children for 6 years, nannying, au pairing, babysitting and holiday camps.
My Qualifications
I graduated with a first class philosophy degree. I came first in my year at only 20 years old. In my dissertation I concluded that a healthy, well rounded adult is built upon the foundations of a child who's emotions have been validated and expressions have been gently guided, encouraging empathy towards themselves and others. This is my nannying philosophy and I believe this is highly valuable for many families and children.
I am currently studying empathy and compassionate listening skills through my counselling and psychotherapy course at Strathclyde University.
