My Requirements

Hello,

My daughter is 4 years old, is diagnosed with autism and is pre-verbal. She has recently started a specialist education provision which is excellent for her, and I am looking for someone who is able to support in wrap around care after school, as I work full time.

I would need someone ideally three times a week (my ideal is Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, although I could have some flexibility with this) who could come to our home for 4pm to await my daughter returning home on transport, to bring her into the house. They would then be available to care for her (including making her her tea) until I return home at approximately 5:30pm. This would be for term times only.

I would like the same person for continuity for my daughter, and given her additional needs.
I would need this to become a long term arrangement. If this magical person could also consider some occasional evening and/or weekend babysitting hours in addition, alongside potentially some additional support in school holidays, that would be amazing - although not a dealbreaker if this isn't possible.

I ideally would like this person to have some experience or understanding of autism. My daughter is very affectionate, sassy(!) and is generally upbeat and happy. She does however struggle with regulation at times, and does not like the word no! A pre-meet would be great if possible.

Is anyone able to help?
