Helena
Full Time Nanny with Special Needs Experience Job in London Borough Of Camden
About Me
Hi!
I’m Helena, and we’re a warm, friendly family living in West Hampstead. Our family includes three wonderful children: a teenage son and two younger children aged 9 and 11, who keep life busy, fun, and full of interesting conversations!
We also have a beautiful Ragdoll cat called Luna, who is calm, affectionate, and very much part of the family.
We’re a curious family who love learning and exploring. The children enjoy documentaries, nature, animals, history, art, music, and discovering new facts about the world around them. They love asking questions and are always keen to learn something new.
As a family, we enjoy spending time outdoors, visiting parks, museums, farmers’ markets, and local community events. We value kindness, creativity, curiosity, and a good sense of humour. We also enjoy cooking, arts and crafts, music, and finding new activities and experiences to enjoy together.
We are an open-minded and welcoming family who appreciate people bringing their own ideas, interests, and talents into our children’s lives. We believe in creating a positive, supportive home environment where everyone feels respected, encouraged, and valued.
We look forward to welcoming someone who will feel comfortable becoming part of our family life.
My Requirements
I am looking for a caring, reliable, and flexible nanny to support my two younger children (aged 9 and 11), with a minimum commitment of two days per week. Both part-time and full-time applicants are welcome.
Typical hours are:
* 6:30am – 9:00am (morning routine and school drop-off)
* 5:30pm – 9/10pm (school pick-up, activities, dinner, and bedtime routine)
This is a split-shift role. Once the children have been dropped at school, your time is your own until the afternoon school pick-up and evening routine begin.
Duties include school drop-offs and pick-ups, taking the children to activities or tuition, preparing dinner, supporting homework and reading, bedtime routines, and light household tasks to help the home run smoothly for the next day.
I work in the NHS, so some flexibility is appreciated. However, rotas will be agreed in advance and provided monthly wherever possible, allowing both of us to plan ahead.
This is an employed position with paid annual leave and holiday entitlement. Additional perks include a Costco membership.
Ideally, I am looking for someone local who is interested in building a long-term working relationship with our family. Consistency and reliability are important to us, and we would love to find someone who can become a trusted and valued part of our children’s lives for years to come.
