About Me
Hi, I’m Chantelle, a proud mom of three amazing boys,
I’m currently studying Psychology with Counselling and have recently published my book “SEN Super Mom: Not All Heroes Wear Capes”, which shares my journey of love, resilience, and advocating for my children.
My life revolves around my boys, especially supporting my youngest, who has additional needs. I’m passionate about creating a safe, understanding, and nurturing environment where my children can be themselves and thrive.
I’m looking to connect with someone who is kind, patient, and genuinely understands children with SEN and someone who will become a trusted part of our journey.
My Requirements
I am looking for a registered SEN childminder, nanny, or support worker to help with my 3-year-old son on an ad-hoc basis.
This support would include:
• School holidays
• Days out and family activities
• Occasional support when I return to university
My son is currently on the pathway for an autism assessment and is non-verbal. He can experience sensory overwhelm and may bolt, so I need someone who is confident, aware, and proactive in keeping him safe.
Due to a physical disability (a full ACL tear in my left knee which is not repairable), I am unable to run, so I need someone who can support me in managing his safety when we are out.
I am looking for someone who is:
Experienced with SEN/autism (essential)
Calm, patient, and understanding
Confident supporting a child who may bolt
Able to support both at home and on outings
Happy to work alongside me as a team
Requirements:
• DBS checked
• Relevant SEN experience
• References
This role is not just childcare, it’s about support, understanding, and creating a safe, positive experience for my son.
My son is full of personality and deserves someone who truly understands him and supports him at his pace.
If this sounds like you please don't hesitate to drop me a message.
