I have a long and meaningful journey in the field of caregiving. Before becoming a nursing professional, I worked for many years as a nanny, developing a deep connection with infant care which has always been my true passion. After completing my nursing training, I cared for children with special needs, including conditions such as Williams syndrome, among others.
I also have extensive experience caring for the elderly, including end-of-life patients and individuals with dementia, providing compassionate, specialized, and human-centered support.
I have a lot of experience with newborns and in helping mothers who are experiencing postpartum depression and are unable to care for their babies.
I am the mother of adult children who are on the autism spectrum, and during their childhood I dedicated myself entirely to their care, stepping away from my professional life for a time. It was not an easy decision, but it was certainly one of the most important choices I ever made, as the needs within the spectrum are complex and require presence, dedication, and love. Today, seeing my children independent and attending university is one of my greatest joys.
I have been happily married for almost 25 years to my best friend, and my family is a great blessing in my life. I am a Christian, and my faith is an essential part of who I am. I understand it may not matter to everyone and that’s perfectly fine but for me, God is everything.
All of these personal, professional, and spiritual experiences have shaped the way I care for others. They have taught me empathy, patience, resilience, and the importance of supporting each person with respect, presence, and sensitivity at every stage of life.
