About Me
Hi I am Alanah, I am a primary school teacher and have qualifications in Level 3 Childcare and also hold general and paediatric first aid qualifications.
I also hold a DBS on the update service and a full UK driving licence and access to my own car.
I have lots of experience in multiple nursery settings (with young babies to preschoolers), schools, special need respite setting - working with children with autism, physical disabilities and other additional and medical needs. As a result of this i also have specific training in the use of hoists as well as experience in nappy/pad changing, meal and bottle prep and supporting the development of different ages and abilities.

Had a great experience using Alanah as a babysitter for my son who has ASD, ADHD and SPD. She was happy to come round and meet him before the night she babysat which was a real bonus for both of us putting my mind at ease. She has also plenty of experience with kids in the Spectrum which was another bonus. Alanah is very professional, she kept us informed during the night and we felt our son was in good hands. I highly recommend her!

Alanah has been a god send!
Our daughter has some very complex needs and Alanah has some fantastic experience with children like this. In a short space of time she has built a great rapport with her and has taken the initiative to do some after school trips/outings to keep her busy and focused.
She has also experienced some difficult behaviour from our daughter, and on her own accord has come up strategies and different ideas about how to get the best out of her and to manage this.
I know when Alanah is in charge, my daughter is safe, well managed and enjoying herself. She has that special extra bit you need to be 'great' with kids and that shows!!
