My Experience

• 6 years’ experience in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) respite centre – Supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, physical disabilities, medical needs and cognitive difficulties. Providing personal care, supporting daily routines, encouraging independence and adapting activities to meet individual needs.

• 5 years’ primary school teaching experience – Working across Year 1 to Year 6 in a variety of schools. Planning and delivering lessons, supporting children’s academic progress, managing classroom routines and adapting learning to suit different abilities and learning styles.

• Experience across the primary curriculum – Supporting phonics, early reading, reading comprehension, spelling, writing and maths, as well as preparing Year 2 pupils for SATs.

• Early years and nursery experience – Working with children from newborn babies through to pre-school age, supporting their care, development and early learning through age-appropriate play and activities.

• Private babysitting experience – Providing individual care and attention, establishing routines, preparing meals, bottle feeding, nappy changing, bathing, bedtime routines and keeping children safe and entertained.

• Personal care experience – Confident supporting babies, children and young adults with personal care needs, always maintaining dignity, comfort and promoting independence wherever possible.

• Playgroups and child development – Experience supporting children’s social development, communication, creativity and confidence through play-based activities and group interactions.

My Qualifications

• Primary Education Degree with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Play, Learning and Development.

• Paediatric First Aid training.

• General First Aid training.

• Enhanced DBS check.

• Level 2 Food Safety.

• Epilepsy Awareness training.

• Buccal Medication Administration training.

• Safeguarding Children and Adults training.

• Team Teach – Positive Behaviour Support and Physical Intervention.

• The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism.

My Availability

• Term Time: Available weekday evenings from 5pm until 11pm.

• Weekends – Saturday: Available from 8am onwards, subject to availability.

• Weekends – Sunday: Available from 10am until 5pm.

• School Holidays – Evenings: Available from 5pm onwards.

• School Holidays – Daytime: Available throughout the holidays, subject to advance booking.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Tutoring from £30.00 per hour

BABYSITTING

• Standard rate: £15 per hour for one child.

• Additional siblings: £5 per hour per additional child.

• Late-night/overnight bookings: An additional £10 per hour applies after midnight, making the hourly rate £25 (plus any additional sibling charges).

• Late collection: An additional £5 per 30 minutes will apply if you are later than the agreed collection time. I understand that plans can sometimes overrun, so communication is key!

• Travel costs: No travel charge for B96, B97 or B98 postcodes. All other areas will be charged at 45p per mile, calculated from the B98 postcode.

PRIMARY SCHOOL TUTORING

• Tutoring rate: £30 per hour.

• Travel costs: No travel charge for B96, B97 or B98 postcodes. All other areas will be charged at 45p per mile, calculated from the B98 postcode.

DEPOSITS & CANCELLATIONS

• A £10 deposit is required to secure all babysitting and tutoring bookings. This deposit comes off the total booking cost and is not an additional charge.

• Deposits are fully refundable if more than 24 hours’ notice of cancellation is given.

• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the deposit being non-refundable.

• If I need to cancel a booking for any reason, the deposit will always be refunded in full, regardless of notice given.

• The remaining balance is payable at the agreed time following the booking.

PAYMENT METHODS

• Bank transfer is my preferred payment method, although cash is also accepted.
