About Me
Hello I'm Gemma, I'm currently training to become an Ofsted registered childminder. I live with my little boy.
I have a lovely home set up with various areas of learning and play, in line with the EYFS framework. This includes a reading area, a mark making table, role play kitchen, construction toys, sensory toys, animals and vehicles. I also have a secure, large garden for the children to explore and play in. In the garden there is a play area, with sand pit, water table, play house and a digging area with tools and wheel barrow, a grass area with slide and a seating area.
There will be regular trips to the local park, library and woodland walks. With occasional trips to play centres and Little Lancashire Village.
I have two indoor rabbits, who will be kept in their run while children are around, but the children can watch them and possibly feed them if they wish.
My Experience
I am level 3 trained in childcare, with an enhanced DBS check and a recent pediatric first aid certificate. I've also completed a diploma in child psychology and a degree in psychology.
I have 15+ years of experience working with children aged from 3 months to 10 years, with the majority of my experience being with babies and toddlers. I have worked in nurseries and as a nanny with a family of 3 young children.
My Qualifications
BTEC Level 3 certificate in childcare.
Pediatric first aid.
Diploma in child psychology.
Degree in psychology.

- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
