Jess Sheps
Friendly Sen Family Seeking Tutors And Babysitters.
About Me
We are a loving and warm family of 4+ 1 dog. Our children are 10 and 7. Both have neurodivergent profiles. Our 10 yr old girl is an energetic performer who love to pretend and sing. Our 7 yr old is our little librarian who you will find reading or listening to audio books. Both of our children have SEN needs of differing degrees and very different profiles.
My Requirements
We are seeking a tutor to help our children. As they are different ages and have different needs we aren’t looking for the same candidate to support both.
For our daughter she is in year 5. Early on in her education her ADHD and autism needs were not well understood. This resulted in a lot of time outside of lessons for movement breaks. As a result there are gaps in her knowledge which we would like someone to help us navigate. Additionally she will be in year six next year and secondary school after that. We would like to do everything we can to help her prepare for the next two years. I would like the right candidate to be able to build her academic confidence which can be low at times. Ideally we would like sessions on Sunday mornings.
Our son 7 is awaiting an SEN placement and he is unable to attend his mainstream school. We are looking for a highly qualified SEN tutor who has experience working with children with engagement and communication difficulties as well as severe fine motor challenges. We would look to have morning sessions on Tuesdays or Thursdays. If positive and successful we would look to expand this.
