I am a childminder based in Loughton and registered with Ofsted. My daughter is a childminding assistant in training.
We have a warm and loving family home in central Loughton near to the tube station and Epping Forest.
I have a large range of creative and educational toys and activities and have access to local playgroups and clubs. I have friends who are also childminders and we have a friendly and supportive network. We spend time outside in nature in all seasons, making the most of the wonderful forest we have on our doorstep.
We focus on learning through play and creativity, providing a nurturing space where every child blooms. We support confidence, self esteem and wellbeing through nature led, child focused experiences.
We like to cook and prepare healthy food and snacks with the children’s involvement, learning about healthy food choices and keeping our minds and bodies fit.
My Experience
I have 5 years experience childminding, specialising in years 0-4. I have extensive experience with special educational needs, such as autism, ADHD, dyspraxia and speech & language disorders. I have experience with children who use English as an additional language.
My Qualifications
I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I hold a paediatric first aid qualification, have completed the Ofsted recognised EYFS course, Safeguarding Level 3, enhanced DBS checked, Food Hygiene Level 3, a Diploma in Childcare and I am fully insured. I am currently studying a Diploma in Child Psychology. I have extensive and first hand experience in ADHD, autism, dyspraxia and speech disorders and I am fully neurodiverse inclusive.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
I accept funded hours for eligible children and tax free childcare payments.

Jane is very special, she’s so kind, nurturing and passionate. I knew instantly on meeting her and visiting her home that my son would be expertly cared for. She pours in love and so much effort every session ensuring the children she looks after are stimulated, have a mixture of activities and time to chill when needed. She provides good quality healthy food and snacks for the children. I often describe her to people as an angel 😇 she’s been such an important part of our village and providing reliable high quality childcare. Thank you for everything you do Jane xx

We feel so incredibly lucky to have had Jane look after both of our children. From the moment we first met her, she was warm, welcoming, and instantly put us at ease. She has truly become like one of the family, providing a home away from home for our little ones.
Jane has a natural ability to connect with children, creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where they can thrive. Our kids adore her, and it’s clear how much effort she puts into planning engaging activities that help them learn and grow. From creative crafts to forest adventures, every day is filled with fun and laughter.
As parents, it’s such a comfort to know our children are in the best hands. Jane always communicates wonderfully, keeping us updated with photos and stories. She truly goes above and beyond in every way.
We can’t thank Jane enough for everything she has done for our family. She’s not just a childminder; she is our friend! We wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will love and care for their children as much as they do.

We couldn’t be happier with Jane and her family. We had our daughter with her since she was 9 months old (she just turned 3 years). Jane has always been very flexible with days and times, which is a huge help to us, since our schedules are constantly changing. Jane has always been very accommodating and listen to our preferences and needs around our daughter. And the biggest reassurance of all is that our daughter absolutely love Jane and her family and is always over the moon to go there every morning. We are so grateful to have her and she has become part of our family.

As a first time mum having to go back to work after 6 x months, I was so anxious about leaving my baby, however as soon as my husband and I met Jane we felt completely at ease and knew our son was in the best hands.
Jane’s setting is fantastic and is completely focus for the children she cares for, she is truly invested in there development and plans activities and trips to widen there horizons, no day is the same.
We are so grateful to have Jane, and it means the world that our son feels so at home when he is with her.

My son was lucky enough to be Jane’s first child to care for. We were the luckiest family to find her, and to have her care, nourish and teach our son. Words cannot describe the love that Jane gives to each of the children jn her care. The thought that goes into every activity, knowing how each child will respond and adapting them to suit their personalities is beyond any expectation with childcare.
A patient, fun, caring child care provider who won’t just care for your child, will love them like one of her own

Jane has been an absolute treasure to our family! She has loved our kids like her own and there has never been a day that our kids have not had the best time with her. As parents we always worry about giving our kids over to someone else to watch but since day one I have always had the upmost confidence that my kids are safe and loved in her care. They have grown so much as little humans with Jane; not only intellectually but also emotionally. They have fostered so many amazing qualities such as empathy, compassion, patience, and respect outside of just the usually pre-school learning. We are going to be absolutely gutted when they go onto reception next year but Jane will always have a special place in our family :)
