About Me
Hi I am Melissa and I have created Bee-utiful Bubbas tiney home nursery. I live in the heart of Southwater West Sussex with my husband and two children. I have a boy aged 7 and a girl who is 2 years. I have worked in nurseries for the past 8 years but decided to open my own setting from home so that i can look after my own children as well as open our home to new little friends. I have created "a home from home" setting so that the children feel safe and welcome. As I mentioned above I live in the centre of Southwater, right next to the Infants school, therefore there are plenty of opportunities to get out for walks and visit to the parks. I have got a fine art degree, so I have a passion for art and being creative. I love incorporating this passion within my childcare practise, whether it be a messy play tuff tray, expressive painting or baking, I love to involve the children and watching them learn through exploration and their play. They say that children do most of their learning through their play so I promise to provide a warm, engaging and exciting environment to spark their interest and to promote learning.
My Experience
I have 7 years experience working with the early years (0-5) in nurseries.
I have a level 3 diploma in childcare and have completed my paediatric first aid. I have also undergone extensive training with childminding agency tiney including safe guarding and food hygiene.
My Qualifications
I have a 3 year degree in Fine Art.
I have a level 3 diploma in Childcare.
I have up to date paediatric first aid certificate.
