Welcome to Our Home-Based Nursery
I am an Ofsted-registered childminder and qualified Early Years Teacher providing a warm, nurturing, and stimulating home-based nursery environment where children can learn, grow, and develop with confidence.
My passion is supporting children’s wellbeing, learning, and development through play-based experiences. I believe children learn best when they are encouraged to explore, use their imagination, ask questions, and develop a positive “can-do” attitude. I provide opportunities for children to challenge themselves, build confidence, and develop their curiosity while achieving their individual goals.
Flexible Childcare for Professional Parents
I support working and professional parents by offering flexible childcare hours to suit a variety of family needs.
I accept:
15- and 30-hour funded childcare entitlements
Student Grant-funded childcare
Tax-Free Childcare payments
I also offer short-term childcare services for parents who may have an emergency, an appointment, or personal commitments to attend to.
A Home Away from Home
My welcoming home nursery is designed to provide children with a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment. The setting is equipped with age-appropriate toys, resources, and activities to support children's learning and development.
I understand that settling into childcare can be a big step for both children and parents. I therefore provide a nurturing and supportive settling-in experience, helping each child feel secure, valued, and confident in their new surroundings.
Learning Through Play and Exploration
Children take part in a wide range of fun and educational activities designed to support all areas of their development, including:
Creative activities such as painting, drawing, and crafts
Cooking and baking experiences
Planting and gardening
Outdoor exploration and physical activities
Imaginative and role play
Storytelling and books
Activities that encourage communication and language development
Experiences that develop independence, confidence, and problem-solving skills
I also support Early Boost Talk to help encourage children's communication and language development.
Outdoor Learning and Community Experiences
Children have access to an outdoor play area and regularly enjoy activities and trips within the local community. We visit:
Local libraries
Parks and playgrounds
Soft-play centres
Farms
Local shops and community facilities
These experiences help children develop their cultural capital, broaden their understanding of the world, and build confidence in different environments.
Supporting School Readiness
Preparing children for their next stage of education is an important part of my ethos. I help children develop the practical and social skills they need to transition confidently into school.
This includes supporting children with:
Potty training
Independence and self-care
Communication and language
Confidence in speaking and expressing themselves
Following routines and instructions
Social skills and positive relationships
Developing a love of learning
I aim to help every child become a confident, independent, and enthusiastic learner who is ready for their next educational journey.
Safe, Caring and Professional
The wellbeing and safety of every child in my care is my highest priority. All assistants are DBS checked and trained in first aid and safeguarding, ensuring that children are cared for in a safe, professional, and nurturing environment.

I provide engaging holiday activities and offer school pick-up services from selected local schools, including:

I have well over 20 years of working as a Childminder Assistant, Nursery Practitioner,Deputy Manager ,Nursery Manager ,SENCo Teacher and Early years Teacher.
I support children's knowledge using the EYFS curriculum, Daily feedback ,Data protection .

My Availability
I am flexible with days. I am open from 7 am to 6 pm
I charge a daily fee of £80 for a one-year-old, which is negotiable based on the number of days and time.
Support Nurses and parents whose shifts are based on the rota.
My Fees
- Childminding from £10.00 per hour
From £8-£10 an hour
Daily fees for under one are £85 for full-time

I couldn’t be happier with our experience at DeeBlooms Childcare. My son has been attending since January, and the progress he has made has been incredible. He has absolutely thrived, and it has been so lovely to see his confidence, independence and development grow.
DeeBlooms provides such a warm, caring and welcoming environment. The staff are genuinely attentive, supportive and clearly passionate about the children in their care. They create a fantastic balance between learning, play and social development, while making sure every child feels valued and supported.
Miss Dee is an inspirational practitioner who is incredibly experienced and knowledgeable. Her passion for early years education is clear in everything she does, and she has created a setting where children are encouraged to learn, explore and develop in a safe and nurturing environment. Her dedication to the children is truly exceptional.
I have complete confidence in the care my son receives, and knowing that he is happy, settled and thriving makes leaving him there so much easier. The setting has been wonderful for him, and I honestly couldn’t recommend DeeBlooms highly enough.
There is genuinely no other childcare setting I would consider sending my child to. I feel incredibly lucky to have found DeeBlooms and will always be grateful for the care, encouragement and opportunities they have given my son.

My daughter started at 6 months, is now 3yrs+ and doing very well.
Fabulous setting, wonderful staff and top notch service.
The experience has been fantastic, my daughter gets upset when it's pick up time- shows how well she loves the setting.
Ms. Dee is just so nice, accommodating and understanding.
200% recommendation!!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 150% Recommend! Such a Wonderful Childminder!
I am so incredibly pleased and grateful for the almost year my son has spent with her. When he first came, he couldn’t speak, couldn’t express himself, and could barely do anything on his own. Since he stepped through her door, God has been so good every bit of progress has been amazing to see.
She is such a lovely, God-fearing woman with a truly kind heart. You can see she cares deeply for every child. Not once have I picked him up and found him unhappy or unkempt every single day he is clean, neat, and looked after so well. She is endlessly supportive, has so many wonderful resources and ways to help the children grow, learn, and thrive. The change in my son is just wonderful.
It honestly makes me sad that he’s leaving now, but I will definitely come back to visit she feels like family. If you’re looking for a safe, loving, wonderful place for your child, do not hesitate. I recommend her 150%you won’t find better care. Thank you so much for everything! ❤️

Aunty Dee and her childcare services have been nothing short of amazing. The way she cares for my son, as if he is her own. He is learning, playing, making friends and his progress since joining Aunty Dee's setting has been amazing to watch.
Aunty Dee is very intentional about the quality of her staff (which I appreciate), the kids learning and everything she does for the kids. And for this I'm super grateful.
I couldn't recommend her enough. She is also flexible - which has been helpful for my husband and I as we navigate wraparound care and work, and a new baby.
Aunty Dee is an extension of my family and my husband and I are grateful to her for her continued care of my son.

We are so grateful to have had Dee as our children's childminder. She is caring , kind and patient , and genuinely dedicated to the children in her care. From the very beginning she made our children feel safe, happy , and comfortable , which gave us a great peace of mind. My son and daughter both greatly developed their knowledge and also learnt a lot in her settings.

Deeblooms is a truly 5-star nursery. Our son settled in so quickly and genuinely loves his days here. The team is fantastic, not only providing brilliant activities and care but also going the extra mile to help with his homework, which has been a massive support for us. He is always happy and full of stories at pick-up time. We have seen him grow in confidence and can't thank you enough. I would wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to any parent 🤗.

Dee took care of my children for in an exceptional way.She is professional ,thorough and she has a lovely way of impacting to the children.She has a vast knowledge on childcare.She always send updates and reports regarding my children’s development.My children were always excited when going to Dee’s place. Dee’s house is clean and welcoming ,her garden space is massive. I really appreciate Dee for her dedication in potty training our children .I recommend Dee and I really appreciate the time my children spend with her. Moving out of borough ,I hope my children find a childminder who so caring.

I’ve been taking my 3 year old sister to Deeblooms for quite sometime and ive been consistently impressed with the care and attention my child receives at this childcare.
