I am a qualified and highly experienced nanny, mother’s help, and babysitter with over 20 years of experience caring for babies and children of all ages. I am reliable, punctual, and trustworthy, and I genuinely love what I do.
Throughout my career, I have always enjoyed supporting children’s development through a mix of outdoor activities and creative play. I love taking children to parks, libraries, and local groups, as well as planning engaging activities at home such as painting, drawing, playdough, and garden play.
I have my own car, which allows me to be flexible and reliable when it comes to nursery runs, outings, and daily routines.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, walking my dog, and reading. I am also a mum to two boys, aged 9 and 12, who keep me active and give me a strong understanding of children’s needs at different stages.
My Experience
I have over 20 years of experience working as a nanny and have had the privilege of growing alongside the families I’ve supported. I have cared for children from newborn stage through to their teenage years, giving me a strong understanding of each stage of development.
I have extensive experience with babies and newborns, including caring for twins and even quadruplets, which has strengthened my ability to stay organised, calm, and attentive in busy environments.
In addition to nannying, I have also taken on nanny-housekeeper roles, supporting families with both childcare and household tasks to help maintain a smooth-running home.
I am very family-oriented and regularly care for my three nieces and two nephews, all under the age of nine, which keeps my skills fresh and my approach fun and engaging.
I also have excellent written references available upon request.

Nanny / Mother’s Help / Babysitter / Night Nanny Available
I am currently available for a range of childcare roles, including daytime, evening, and night nanny positions.
Bookings are a minimum of 3 hours.
I am happy to support with both childcare and light housekeeping duties to help keep your home running smoothly.
I am available for:

??Weekday and weekend evening babysitting.
Ideally, I am looking for a role within school hours during term time, but I am flexible and happy to discuss individual needs.

Claire is a fantastic nanny whom I have been lucky enough to find and have got to know well over the two years she has been looking after my son (2). She has a lot of experience and this has been invaluable in supporting me and my family (I also have 7 & 10 year old girls). Nothing fazes her and she instils confidence and calm when it’s most needed. I have much respect for the way Claire balances such a busy, and at times exhausting job, with the utmost professionalism and commitment. She is genuine, kind, flexible and helpful. She has great advice and is skilled at understanding when and how far to get involved in each personal situation, she not only comprehends what the child needs but also the mother. My son absolutely loves Claire to bits and enjoys spending time with her and her sons. He asks to see her and I have the priceless peace of mind that he is happy and well cared for, in fact she does a far better job than me!! She is a very unassuming and inspirational person, I don’t think she realises how wonderful she is! It has been a pleasure to get to know her and I hope we remain close acquaintances.
