About Me

Hi I’m Amber! I am a newly qualified primary school teacher with lots of free time to babysit over the summer holidays! Naturally with my qualifications- QTS, a PGCE in education and a first class honours degree in primary education studies- I have a strong base knowledge of how children learn and develop, meaning as well as being fun, nurturing and kind, I know what strategies will help your child/ren learn and develop. Most of my experience is with children from 3-7, however I am confident to babysit outside of this age bracket too. I am naturally positive, friendly and caring, and genuinely love spending time with children. In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym, reading, spending time outdoors and trying new cafes and restaurants.

My Experience

I have experience teaching classes of up to 30 children aged 4-7. This has included teaching children with SEND needs such as ASD and ADHD.

My Qualifications

I have Qualified Teacher Status, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and an undergraduate degree in Primary Education Studies (first class honours).

I also have 3 A-levels and 8 GCSE’s, all at grade C or above.

My Availability

I am currently fully flexible over the summer holidays before my teaching position begins in September.
