About Me

I am a warm, caring and experienced nanny with over six years of professional childcare experience, working with children from baby through to their early teenage years.

For me, being a nanny is about much more than simply looking after children. I enjoy becoming someone they feel comfortable and secure with, while also giving them the right balance of affection, boundaries and independence as they grow. I naturally adapt my approach to each child’s age and personality, whether that means imaginative play with a younger child, helping with homework and school routines, or being a trusted and supportive presence for older children.

I have worked with families in London in both nanny and governess-style roles, including busy households where organisation, flexibility and discretion were very important. I am confident managing children’s schedules, school runs, activities, homework, meals, playdates and day-to-day routines, as well as planning fun outings and activities.

I am Greek and English speaking and have a Law degree. I am naturally organised, reliable and proactive, but I also have a very affectionate and playful side with children. The relationships I build with the children in my care are incredibly important to me, and I always want them to feel happy, listened to and safe with me

My Experience

I have over six years of professional childcare experience in London, working with children from babies through to early teenage years. My roles have ranged from full-time nannying with younger children to more demanding nanny/governess positions involving multiple children, busy school schedules and a high level of responsibility.

One of my longest roles was with a family in Notting Hill, where I cared for their son for several years. I started with the family in a full-time role and later continued as his after-school nanny as his needs and schedule changed. Having looked after him for such a significant part of his childhood, I was able to build a very close and trusting relationship with him and his family.

My responsibilities included school and nursery runs, preparing meals, organising playdates and activities, taking him to classes and outings, helping with homework and reading, and managing bath and bedtime routines. I also enjoyed planning our time together and finding activities that suited his interests and stage of development. As he grew older, my role naturally changed with him, which gave me valuable experience in understanding how children’s needs develop over time.

Most recently, I worked as a nanny/governess for a private family in South Kensington, caring for four children ranging from preschool age to early teenage years. This was a very busy and varied position that required a high level of organisation, flexibility and independence.

My days could involve caring for the youngest child during the day, planning activities and outings and following his routine, before moving into a much more governess-focused role with the older children after school. I managed school collections, homework, school projects, extracurricular activities, appointments, playdates, meals and evening routines, as well as accompanying the children to sporting, school and social activities.

With the older children, I was very involved in keeping their academic and extracurricular lives organised. I helped with homework and preparation for school, kept track of changing schedules and commitments and supported them in becoming increasingly independent and responsible for their own routines.

Working with several children of very different ages at the same time taught me how important it is to adapt my approach to the individual child. A preschooler needs something completely different from an older child approaching their teenage years, and I am comfortable moving between those different roles while making sure each child receives individual attention.

I am confident taking sole charge and making decisions independently, while also working closely with parents and alongside other household staff. My experience in private households has taught me the importance of discretion, reliability, flexibility and clear communication, particularly when family schedules can change at short notice.

Although I am naturally organised and enjoy giving children structure and consistency, I am also very affectionate and playful. I believe children respond best when they genuinely enjoy being with their nanny and know that they can trust them.

The relationships I have built with the children and families I have worked with have always been the most rewarding part of my work, and I take a great deal of pride in having remained an important person in the lives of children I have cared for over several years.I
