About Me
Hi, I am a qualified primary teacher with over 13 years’ experience working with children and young people. My approach is patient, nurturing and highly personalised, helping children feel safe, understood and confident in their learning. I believe positive relationships are at the heart of success, and I work hard to create engaging lessons that build both academic skills and self-belief. With a degree in Drama, I enjoy bringing creativity, energy and fun into my teaching, helping children develop confidence and a genuine enjoyment of learning.
My Experience
I have extensive experience across both mainstream and specialist educational settings, including six years as a primary school teacher and previous work as a Learning and Behaviour Specialist. I am ABA trained and have supported children with autism, ADHD, anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, social communication needs and demand-avoidant behaviours. I understand that behaviour is often a form of communication and tailor my approach to each child’s individual strengths and needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
