About Me
Hi! I’m a recent sport graduate with aspirations of becoming a PE teacher in the future. Growing up in a busy household with four sisters — and an even larger extended family — has given me a genuine love for working with children and caring for others. I enjoy creating fun, active, and supportive environments where children feel happy and engaged, and I’m excited to bring my enthusiasm, patience, and energy to a childcare role.
My Experience
I have extensive childcare experience, beginning with caring for my younger sisters and expanding to regular babysitting for six families during sixth form. My babysitting journey started with one family, whose referral network quickly introduced me to a variety of households, allowing me to care for children from infancy to toddler years and beyond.
I currently work as a Pupil Support Assistant in a high school, supporting young people, including those with additional support needs. Alongside this, I coach netball for a range of age groups, which has given me confidence and adaptability in engaging with children of all ages — from newborns to teenagers.
I am passionate about creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment for children, and I bring patience, reliability, and enthusiasm to every role I take on.
My Qualifications
I do not have any formal childcare qualifications, however, I am educated to degree level, have a child wellbeing and protection certificate, a first aid certificate and a PVG to allow me to work with children and adults
My Availability
As I work in a school, my availability is outwith school hours, therefore it would be late afternoon/evening work, as well as weekends. Please whatsapp message me if you require my services.
