My name is Amy, and I’m a registered childminder with an Ofsted rating of GOOD. I’m also a proud mum of three, based on the St Mary’s estate in Biddenham.
I hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and a Foundation Degree in Child and Family Studies (Levels 4 & 5), which I completed in 2016. Over the past nine years, I’ve gained valuable experience working in schools and nurseries. My previous job was a Senior Practitioner and Baby Room Leader at a private nursery.
I’m fully certified in paediatric first aid, have completed an up-to-date safeguarding refresher course, and hold a full UK driving licence. I drive a 7-seater car, which means I can take children on fun and educational outings to places like the park, library, local shops, soft play, and playgroups.

Amy looked after our son for almost a year and I literally cannot fault her. Amy treated Finley as one of her own, she taught him things, played games with him and done everything you'd want your childminder to do and more! He was always happy to go there, and we cannot thank her enough.

I went back to work when our baby Margaux was 6 months old. We didn't have any family in the area, and finding the right childminder was very important for us. It needed to be a home away from home, and somewhere where she was safe and happy. As soon as we met Amy I could feel her warmth, and her caring and competent nature shone right through. Amy's home was very comfortable and child friendly, and I could see that her lovely children would be great playmates for our baby. From the get go, Amy was very organised and professional. All of the paperwork was in order, and she was consistent and reliable. Margaux loved going to Amy's. She would get very excited when she approached the door in the mornings, and the daily activities Amy engaged her with were creative, fun and helped Margaux's development enormously. Towards the end of our time there, I asked maragux if she loved Amy, and the answer was a resounding yes! The only reason we are not using Amy any more is because we emigrated... I fantasised about winning the lottery so we could make Amy an offer she couldn't refuse to come with us and continue to be our childminder, but unfortunately for us, Bedford gets to keep the best childminder ever! I would highly recommend Amy (and so would Margaux if she could write ✍)

Amy has been a brilliant childminder to our son. He has loved going each week and enjoyed all the different activities from creating pictures, to walks to the park and soft play trips. With regular updates throughout the day it really made us feel as ease and was lovely to see him enjoying the activities through pictures. We couldn’t have wanted a better person to look after Oliver. Thank you so much, would highly recommend Amy and we will most definitely use Amy again in the future! xx
