About Me
I’m a 20 year old studying Sport Psychology at the Solent University and live in the New Forest. I am currently a Sports Coach working around different schools within the Southampton area. I enjoy going to gym, seeing my family when i can, and spending time with friends during my spare time. I see myself as a very friendly, reliable, patient and trustworthy character which i think is essential in the childcare industry but also trying to make a small living for myself for when i’m at university.
My Experience
I have grown up with children my whole life due to my mother being a childminder since i was a child. After turning 16, i worked with her as a Childcare Assistant until i went to university so i have lots of experience with children. I have also grown up with 3 younger brothers which i also think has an impact on my experience with children. I have a full UK driving license and my own car so transport wouldn’t be a problem and also have an enhanced DBS. I also completed 2 weeks work experience in an Infant School for part of my college course. I also hold Certificates in First Aid Essentials, Child Protection in Sport and Active Leisure, An Introduction to Safety in Clubs and a Food Hygiene and Safety.
My Qualifications
I have 6 GCSE’s including Maths, English and Science. I have a Level 3 Diploma in Sport. Now, i am studying to get a degree in Sport Psychology at Solent University.
I also have my Level 3 Paediatric First Aid Training Certificate.
My Availability
I currently have Wednesdays and Fridays off Uni therefore, these are the days that I am available for Day childcare. I work with my mother who is a childminder in a child friendly environment as her Childcare Assistant. I am also available during the evenings and Weekends.
