Absolutely terrible

This is the very first time we are posting a negative feedback, but what happened left us with no choice to do so. We had a chat with this nanny once for an hour and it all seemed well. We paid £100 to an agency to check her paperwork and have waited for her for “a month” and not given the position to other people, that wanted it. We booked her for specific dates twice and she agreed, we planned our days off and work-from-home days around it. Yet, she cancelled again only a day before out of the blue and put us in lots of trouble. What she did was by no means professional or right or OK and as parents we certainly don’t want this to happen to another family. My partner told her we would be posting on childcare.com about this because we don’t want other families to go through the same and what she did in response? Make her profile hidden!! Being honest and upfront and having a sense of responsibility come on top of anything especially for a nanny and she clearly lacks it all. If you are a parent looking for a nanny, make sure you think long and hard enough before you trust this nanny and go ahead with her and eventually get hugely disappointed and stressed. Cheers
