About Me
I am a positive, reliable and flexible tutor who has experience in supporting children to make fantastic progress and achieve their full potential. I tailor my tutoring to support and motivate the individual child. I have experience in tutoring year 1 and 2 pupils on a 1:1 basis and I specialise in teaching early reading and writing.
My Experience
I am a qualified teacher who teaches in a local independent school, and I have experience in teaching Reception, year 1 and year 2 pupils. I am based in South Croydon, and am a driver who is happy to travel. I tutor two children to support them with their early reading, writing and mathematics and they have both made fantastic progress in the time I have been working with them. I specialise in teaching phonics to promote children's early literacy and offer tailored, personalised tutoring to support the needs of the individual child.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified teacher and am experienced in teaching both in a whole class setting and as a 1:1 tutor. I have a First Class BA Hons degree in Primary Education from Durham University.

I am available on weekdays after school and weekends.
