About Me

I am a positive, reliable and flexible tutor who has experience in supporting children to make fantastic progress and achieve their full potential. I tailor my tutoring to support and motivate the individual child. I have experience in supporting the learning and development of children aged 3-11 on a 1:1 basis (and within classroom settings) and I specialise in teaching early reading, writing and Maths. I have experience working in an ELP and am a specialist tutor for children with SEND including Autism, ADHD, speech and language delay and Dyslexia.

My Experience

I am a qualified and experienced teacher who is an Assistant Head and teacher in a local independent school. I have significant experience in teaching children aged 3 to 11, finding creative and personalised solutions to support their progress. I am based in Coulsdon and this is where lessons would take place. I specialise in promoting children's early literacy skills and offer tailored, personalised tutoring to support the needs of the individual child. I also support children’s resilience, speech and language and fine motor skills. I have significant experience in supporting children with SEND to make excellent progress in personalised 1:1 learning sessions and also in a class setting.

My Qualifications

I am a qualified teacher and am experienced in teaching both in a whole class setting and as a 1:1 SEND tutor. I have a First Class BA Hons degree in Primary Education from Durham University and am working as an Assistant Headteacher and Class Teacher in a local prep school.
