About Me

My name is Brooke, I have a background of working with children of all ages - specialising in special needs and early years. I also have a background of drama and dance which I like to bring into my daily work.

My Experience

I have worked in a primary school since I was 16 years old, mainly as an SEN ta and intervention leader. I currently am a therapy assistant in a Special needs school. I have safeguarding training, SEN intervention training and positive handling training and certificates. I have thoroughly enjoyed this role and I am doing my DET in September to get QTS. My goal is to become a SENco in a school but I am very keen on babysitting in the interim as this is something I have always enjoyed doing.

My Qualifications

I attained the equivalent of A stars, As and Bs at GCSE level when leaving school. I then went on to start my apprenticeship where I gained my Level 3 teaching assistant awarded by NCFE CACHE. I also have an undergraduate certificate pass in Special needs education.

My Availability

I can work all day in school holidays or evenings during term time.

My Fees

Babysitting from £18.00 per hour

My fees are based on my experience and knowledge of working with children. I also have very often bought resources, toys and other things to a high value out of my own money for work which I am more than happy to do in this scenario as well.
