Hello, My names Olivia. I am very passionate about providing top quality care to the children I look after. I am energetic, enthusiastic, professional and compassionate. I currently plan for children in my care to help them grow into confident, happy, courageous little souls. I am very knowledgable about the ethos of Maria Montessori and the curiosity approach, I am a strong believer of her ideology and I love watching children thrive in a happy, enabling environment. My Experience
I am currently working in a day nursery 5 days a week, I have been in the childcare sector for 4 years and have gained experience from working with children ranging newborn to 5 years. I have also been away multiple times with a family I regularly nanny for.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 diploma in childcare and education as well as a level 3 qualification in paediatric first aid. To further my knowledge, I have been completing various courses over the past 2 years to support my continuous professional development. These courses include: awareness on autism, dyslexia, ADHD, the role of the key person, an enabling learning environment, food hygiene, safeguarding, managing behaviour, caring for children with allergies, causes and spread on infection (due to COVID 19), the role of the SENCO, first time leadership and building a team.
My Availability
My preferred working hours would be 8-5, three days a week as I am currently training as a holistic well-being therapist and would like to do therapies for clients two days a week
