About Me
I have many years experience of working and supporting babies, children and young people of all ages and their families. I have three grown children of my own and have well established routes and connections within the Swadlincote area. I believe that children are the future and they look to us for guidance and support. I offer many opportunities for the children in my care to socialise within the community and with their peers within my home.
My Experience
I am a mother of three. Prior to becoming a childminder I worked for Derbyshire Children’s services for ten years as a family support officer and early years worker within Surestart Children’s Centres. I have also worked as a community engagement officer for Eureka park and as pastoral support for young people at college aged 16-24years. I have many childcare qualifications and am also qualified as both a yoga and dance teacher specialising in teaching young people.

Paediatric First Aid
Ashtanga Yoga 200hr Teacher Training
Teen Yoga 60hr Teacher Training
Diploma in Dance Performance
My Availability
Availability is dependent upon my current workload, please contact me for up to date availability. I work Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8-1pm with some room for flexibility. I can pick up/drop off from Church Gresley Infant & Nursery School and Pennine Junior Academy
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
My fees range from £7-8 dependent on child’s age. I offer 9 month- 3/4 yr old funded childcare places
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Pennine Way Junior Academy
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Church Gresley Infant and Nursery School

Charlotte has been childminding for my daughter since she was around 10 months.
I knew instantly upon meeting Charlotte, that my daughter would be in safe hands. Charlotte is kind and exceptional with children of all
ages.
Charlotte offers a home from home environment with lots of space and a beautiful garden for the children to enjoy.
I am forever grateful that I found Charlotte and that my daughter has been lucky enough to be cared for by such a wonderful human.
