About Me
My name is Ann Marie and I work alongside my daughter Francine as a childminder. We are both Ofsted registered. We both hold our paediatric first aid certificate, we also have a certificate in food and hygiene and our safeguarding children certificate. We are very reliable people and someone you can count on. In our childminding setting we will be focusing on the 7 areas of learning and development, the activities will focus on prime and specific areas. Our setting has as outdoor play area and we have a nearby park which the children will have access to.
Our home is smoke free, meals will be cooked fresh onsite. Any food we use for the children's dinner are freshly sourced and organic.
When your child or children use our setting they will be kept safe from harm and danger, the house will be arranged where there are plenty of space available for the children to play. The kitchen doors are closed when cooking to keep children safe and we have a safety gate in place also.
My Experience
(Ann Marie) I have over 30 years of experience with children and working with them, I have 4 children and 5 grandchild. I am also the Sunday school teacher at my local church for all ages. I also have experience with new-born children.
(Francine) I have over 10 years experience with working with children I also have my level 3 qualification in childcare. I also worker has a deputy manager at my previous job.

My children have been attending this setting for 2 years. Francine and Annmarie are amazing!

Our child has attended Ann Marie and Francine's setting for nearly 2 years. He has the most amazing time there. Children are treated as family and are looked after so well. We can really see how much our boy is learning as he applies his new knowledge as we go about or daily lives, recognising numbers and colours etc. Ann Marie and Francine have worked extremely hard with Ofsted and completed lots of training courses. They are applying their new knowledge to help the children learn and grow. We are so happy sending our boy and he loves going.

My son has been attending Ann Marie's setting for 4 years now. He has made lots of friends there and really enjoys his days at 'school'. He has learnt his ABC's, counting and lots of nursery rhymes and sing songs which he comes home singing to me.
He loves Ann Marie and Francine so much so that when he comes home he accidently calls me Francine too.
The setting has an abundance of entertain for the children, encouraging both inside and outside play. The garden has recently been renovated providing a safe and fun environment for the children.
Communication and support regarding funding has been superb, invoices sent promptly and the following months activities notification has been really useful in preparing not just the children but parents as well for school life.
Ann Marie and Francine place care in readying the children for schoolm enrouaging independance and prviding the support whenever it has been needed.
The flexibility they have provided our family has been a God send and we so sad for our son to leave them this September. I'm not sure who is more upset, my son or me!

My daughter has been attending Ann Marie's since about Nov 2022. She goes 3 days a week. I cannot fault the care here, they are like her second family and they take such good care of her. I have never felt uneasy leaving her there and now she's been there so long, sometimes when I pick her up she doesn't want to come home. She loves it and she has developed so much since being there. I cannot recommend the service enough! I tell all my friends to send their children here. Brilliant staff and amazing communication.

My Daughter has been attending this placement for a couple of months now, she really enjoys going and is happy to go in to see her friends, she has also learnt a lot since being there, now able to sing her ABC’s. She has already been part of some play educational sessions and i have plenty pictures to see. The staff are lovely people and go above and beyond for the children, very warm and welcoming. Thank you for all you have done for her so far

My son settled straight away. Flexible time arrangement to suit parent's need. Creative activities to help children to learn. Kind and caring, my son has always been looked after there.
