My Requirements

Dear Nannies,

Thanks for reading our profile.

We are Libby (British) and Alex (Australian) seeking a happy, creative nanny/babysitter to look after our two children, a boy aged 11 and a girl aged 9, after school. Ideally we are looking for someone free on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays to pick them up from their primary school in Crouch End, take them to after school activities, feed them and look after them until about 6.30/7pm. This will add up to about 12- 15 hours in total but we are happy to discuss adding babysitting/additional hours if that is of interest. It would be wonderful to find someone who enjoys music as on Mondays and Fridays our children attend music lessons in Muswell Hill after school - they are learning piano and cello. We would be especially interested in anyone available to do additional hours during some school holidays (though we are away for several weeks) in case that is also of interest, but it is not an absolute requirement.

We have had nannies from different countries for many years and come from a multi-lingual, multi-cultural wider family with family members from the UK, Australia, France, Costa Rica and Turkey so love to encourge curiousity about the world and other languages and cultures. Of course, we have also had wonderful babysitters from the UK and are open to people from all backgrounds and cultures - the most important thing to us is finding someone who enjoys spending time with our kids, who we feel comfortable with and who feels comfortable with us.

Our children are well-behaved and independent and love creative activities such as writing stories, making things and art and craft but also love walking and exploring nature outside, so someone who shares these interests would be very welcome. Both have their very own sense of humour that guarantee you will never be bored.
