About Me
Hello my name is Lisa. I am married to my husband David and we have two girls of our own aged 14 and 11. I am an Ofsted registered childminder. We live in Huthwaite, where I have a large extension which I use as the main area for the business. There is also a large enclosed private garden space, which is accessible to children. We also visit the wider community on a daily basis e.g. Playgroups, Libraries, Forest Schools, Parks and more.
My Experience
I have worked with children for over 20 years in various settings from running after school/ holiday clubs, private day nurseries, to then moving on to a Primary school, where I was there for 18 years as a Teaching Assistant and a Pastoral leader for the school before deciding to move on to becoming a childminder.
I absolutely adore working with babies and young children. I enjoy watching them learn and grow and I have their best interests at heart in everything I do .

Breakfast and school drop off = £10.00 per child/per day.
EYFS children and school holiday care=£40.00 per day per child.

My little Emily only attended Lisa’s setting for a short amount of time as her current childcare wasn’t working anymore. I wished I had found her sooner! Lisa’s house is a home from home and made us all feel welcome even making a fuss of Emily’s older sister. Emily really came out of her shell while being at Lisa’s. She learnt so many new things like putting her own shoes on, colours and numbers. We will miss you!

Lisa has looked after both of our boys and has become part of the family. My first little boy was very shy and clingy when first starting with Lisa but settled with her straight away and has always loved his days with Lisa. Lisa is always very friendly and easy to talk to and has always accommodated for our families needs. Finding someone you trust to look after you little ones can be a hard decision and we will be forever grateful we found Lisa. Lisa has taught both our boys so much and has brought them on lead and bounds helping them become the confident little boys they are. Thank you for everything Lisa, Stevie still talks about his time with you and is excited for Elliott to share his journey with you. X

Lisa was recommended to me by a friend who had recently signed up for her to provide childcare. I was returning to university and needed childcare 5 days a week, I'm so glad we found Lisa. Our daughter loved her time at Lisa's, their entire family made her feel like she was a part of it. Lisa makes the effort to explore local playgroups, parks and forest schools which Maisie loved! There were always creative activities available whether that be play doh, painting, colouring, sticking or sand and water play. Maisie went to school already able to recognise numbers, write her name and get herself ready with her coat and shoes. Thank you Lisa, Maisie misses you all!
