About Me
Hi, I’m Emma, a registered childminder based in Symington, where I live with my husband and our two lovely children, aged 7 and 6.
I’ve been childminding for the past three years, and it’s truly a job I love. I provide a caring, safe, and stimulating home from home environment where children can play, learn, and grow at their own pace.
I understand how busy family life can be, so I aim to be as flexible as possible to support the needs of parents and their schedules.

My Experience
I have over four years of experience as a registered childminder. Prior to this, I worked as a support worker with East Ayrshire Council, where I gained valuable experience supporting children and families, something that continues to shape my approach to childcare today.
My Qualifications
NC level 6 Health & Social Care.
Pre registration course.
Pediatric first aid.
Volunteer buddy with south Ayrshire council.
My Availability
From October 2026 I will have a Monday Thursday and Friday all day space available.
January 2027 Monday - Friday space coming up.
Holiday only childcare available, very limited space so please get in touch early to secure a space.
In addition to regular childminding, I also provide professional nannying services for weddings and special events.
My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Symington Primary School
