My Summary
About Me
Experienced Nanny & Play Worker | Healthcare & SEN Experience
My Experience
July 2025 – Present
Relief Play Worker – Cambridge City Council
I support children with disabilities and additional needs, providing care that is adapted to each child’s individual needs and abilities. I plan and lead play and learning activities that encourage confidence, independence and social development. I work closely with families, teachers and other professionals to make sure each child feels safe, included and supported. I particularly enjoy finding activities that children connect with and helping them build confidence through play.
June 2024 – Present
Part-Time Nanny – Cambridge
I currently care for two children aged 12 and 8. I prepare healthy, nutritious meals for them and encourage them to get involved in cooking, helping them learn practical skills and become more confident and independent. I believe it is important for children to develop these everyday skills in a fun and age appropriate way.
I support them with their homework and set aside time for reading in the evenings, helping them stay organised with their schoolwork while also making learning enjoyable. I also help them with French and Spanish, encouraging their confidence with languages.
Outside of schoolwork, I organise outdoor activities and regularly take the children to parks and playgrounds to keep them active and engaged. I aim to create a warm, calm and positive environment where the children feel comfortable, listened to and encouraged to be themselves, while also developing their independence and confidence.
June 2024 – July 2024
Volunteer – Fiji Islands
I spent a month volunteering on a mental health awareness project working with families and children. I helped raise awareness of mental health and spoke with members of the local community about recognising early signs of difficulties and ways to support children and families. The experience strengthened my communication skills and taught me the importance of listening, understanding different backgrounds and adapting my approach to each family.
May 2023 – Present
Healthcare Assistant – Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge
I work as a Healthcare Assistant across paediatric and adult settings, supporting patients and families in a busy hospital environment. In paediatrics, I have experience caring for newborns through to teenagers, including children with physical disabilities, developmental needs and behavioural or social challenges.
My responsibilities include supporting children with personal care, feeding, comfort and day-to-day needs, while also providing reassurance and emotional support. I work alongside nurses, doctors and families to make sure children receive safe and compassionate care. This experience has given me a good understanding of the importance of patience, communication and treating every child as an individual.
April 2022 – December 2022
Part-Time Nanny – Private Family, Cambridge
I cared for a 6 month old baby, providing attentive and nurturing care throughout the day. I prepared meals and bottles according to the family’s routine, established a consistent sleep routine and enjoyed age appropriate play with the baby to encourage their early development.
I also kept the baby’s living and play areas clean and organised. Caring for a young baby taught me to be attentive to small changes in their routine and needs while providing a calm and reassuring environment.
November 2021 – March 2022
Part-Time Nanny – Private Family, Cambridge
I provided after-school care for an 8 year old child with additional needs. I supported the child with their daily routine, personal hygiene, meals and activities, while making sure they felt comfortable and supported.
I also helped with activities connected to their psychological therapy, particularly those focused on social skills and emotional regulation. I worked closely with the child’s parents and healthcare professionals so that everyone followed a consistent approach. This role strengthened my understanding of how important patience, consistency and trust are when caring for a child with additional needs.
September 2019 – December 2020
Part-Time Nanny – Private Family, London
I cared for two children aged 5 and 8, mainly providing after-school care. I collected them from school, prepared meals and took them to activities such as swimming lessons. I also planned trips to parks, playgrounds and libraries and helped with homework and school projects.
I enjoyed creating a balance between their responsibilities and having fun. I also introduced Spanish into their routine through simple lessons and everyday conversation, helping them develop their language skills in a relaxed way.
September 2017 – December 2019
Babysitter & Children’s Volunteer – Iglesia Dios es Amor, Spain
I volunteered with a weekly children’s programme attended by more than 30 children. I helped organise and run activities including football, volleyball, karaoke, dancing and other games. I also communicated with parents about allergies and individual needs, making sure children were able to participate safely.
I really enjoyed creating a welcoming environment where children could make friends, express themselves and have fun. I also provided emotional support to children and families when needed and worked as part of a team of adults and teenage volunteers.

I cannot say enough good things about Noelia, she has been incredible for our family. She comes with new ideas, is very creative, innovitive, reliable and is so very kind. My children, ages 12 and 7, absolutely love having her over. She is equally attentive to both children. Noelia always comes up with new ideas and activities for the children to do. She has made delicious healthy food for them. She is constantly thinking of new ways to entertain them, challenging since my kids are different ages. I would really highly recomment Noelia to anyone.

I cannot recommend Noelia highly enough as a nanny. She has been taking care of our 6 month old baby, and the experience has been exceptional. From the very beginning, she has shown a genuine love and care for our little one, always ensuring that every need is met with patience, kindness and love.
She is so attentive, always going above and beyond to make sure our baby is comfortable, happy, and engaged. She has a natural ability to soothe and entertain, whether it's through play, storytelling, or just being a calming presence. Her understanding of our baby's routine and her ability to adapt to any situation has given us peace of mind, knowing that our child is in the best hands.
Noelia is reliable, professional, and with a warmth spirit . She communicates clearly, and follows any instructions to the letter, her dedication to her work evident in everything she does, we fully trust her with our baby.
