My Experience

I am an experienced childcare professional with a strong background supporting children in both nursery and school settings. I currently work as a Playworker within a nursery for East Renfrewshire Council, where I support children’s learning and development through play, help create engaging activities, and ensure a safe, nurturing environment for all children.

Previously, I worked within school services as a Key Worker, providing support to children throughout the school day and helping to meet their individual needs. This role allowed me to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues while promoting children’s wellbeing, confidence, and development.

Through my experience, I have developed excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills, alongside the ability to engage positively with children of different ages and abilities. I am passionate about supporting children to learn, grow, and thrive, and I take pride in creating inclusive, welcoming environments where every child feels valued and supported.
