About Me

We are looking for a nanny for our 2 lovely girls.

We have 2 girls, the eldest is 8yr and the youngest 5.5yrs. Both girls attend Bishop Gilpin school. The oldest is in year 3, and the youngest is in year 1.

I am a Paediatric doctor and my husband is a secondary school teacher and we both need to leave the house at 7.15am for work and we’re not back till 5/6pm, occasionally later if we are both working late. He’s a teacher so predominantly we need term time help but understand if we would most likely need to employ over the holidays as well. The days I work can vary but I always have advance notice, but I don’t work Friday’s and could work 4 days Mon-Thurs, or often it’s a 3 day week. Or sometimes I have days off as I have worked nights or a weekend.

The girls are happy caring kids, the eldest Isla loves the outdoors, reading, swimming, acting and playing with her sister and friends. Tessa the youngest is outgoing and also loves playing outdoors, she loves music and singing and loves getting fully immersed in pretend play.

We speak English and Portuguese at home as my husband is Brazilian and I am half Brazilian.

We would need before and after school childcare with occasional babysitting.

The role includes getting the girls breakfast and ready for school and then taking them to school, either walking or by car.
In the afternoons we would need the nanny to pickup from school and take the girls to extra activities in the area and then preparing / giving dinner.
We would also like the nanny to organise and tidy the kids room and toys, and fold and put away their clothes.
We would also love someone who would do crafts and activities with the girls on their free afternoon and help with homework too if possible.

Hours would be roughly
07.00-0915
15.00-18.00

Monday-Thursday
Approx 20 hours per week
