About Me

Hi, i’m Poppy. I am starting a Childminding service in September called Little Lights. It will be based in Horsford on the land where i live in a converted static caravan that i have poured my heart and soul into creating a child friendly space.

From my experience in a nursery and as a nanny i feel i have the knowledge and the love to share and i can’t wait to create a safe space for all the little ones i look after.

I will be open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and will offer an amazing indoor and outdoor space for your little ones to explore whilst teaching them so many important skills ready for school.

I will be following a Christian curriculum, by teaching the children bible stories, prayer and how to have a relationship with God on a child friendly basis.I believe this is for all children, anyone is welcome no matter the background.

My Experience

I have worked in a nursery for 2 years, looking after children from 3 months to 5 years and I am now a nanny, looking after children under 3 years old, one of them being a newborn when I started. I have 5 years overall experience.

My Qualifications

I have GCSE’s in science, maths, english, geography, music and health and social care. I have a level 3 early years educator qualification, and i am level 3 qualified in first aid. I’m also safeguarding trained.
