Postnatal Doula & School-Hours Nanny

Hello! I’m a caring, calm and nurturing postnatal doula and nanny, offering families practical, emotional and hands-on support during the early stages of parenthood, as well as professional childcare during school hours.

Postnatal Doula Support

The postnatal period can be wonderful, but it can also feel overwhelming, exhausting and like a huge adjustment. My role is to make those early weeks and months feel a little easier by providing practical support, reassurance and a helping hand when you need it.

I can offer support with:

* Newborn care and settling
* Feeding support and reassurance, including breastfeeding support
* Helping parents feel more confident caring for their baby
* Establishing gentle routines
* Supporting sleep and settling
* Preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the family
* Light household tasks and keeping things ticking over
* Laundry and general practical help
* Caring for older siblings while parents rest or spend time with the baby
* Emotional and practical support for new parents
* Helping parents get out of the house and regain confidence
* Signposting to appropriate local services and professionals where needed
* Support following birth as you recover and adjust to life with your new baby
* Giving parents the opportunity to rest, shower, eat, sleep or simply have some uninterrupted time

I believe there is no single “right” way to parent. My approach is gentle, non-judgemental and centred around supporting you and your family in the way that works best for you.

Nanny Services – School Hours

Alongside my postnatal doula work, I am also offering nanny services during school hours.

This is ideal for families looking for a reliable, caring nanny for their younger children while older children are at school, or for families who need regular childcare during the daytime.

I can provide:

* Care for babies, toddlers and preschool-aged children
* School and nursery drop-offs and collections where required
* Age-appropriate play and activities
* Trips to the park, library, baby groups and other local activities
* Preparing meals and snacks
* Baby and toddler routines
* Supporting naps and sleep routines
* Light tidying related to the children
* Children’s laundry and keeping their spaces organised
* Supporting developmental milestones through play
* A safe, stimulating and nurturing environment

I’m happy to work with families looking for either regular weekly childcare or occasional daytime support, depending on availability.
