My Experience

I have many years of hands-on childcare experience through caring for younger family members from a young age, as well as professional experience supporting individuals with additional needs. I am confident caring for children of different ages and personalities, and I understand the importance of routines, clear boundaries, and positive communication.

My healthcare background has given me strong skills in safeguarding, hygiene, and recognising when a child may be unwell or need extra support. I am calm under pressure, attentive, and always prioritise children’s safety and happiness.

My Qualifications

I am a qualified nurse with up-to-date training in first aid, basic life support, and safeguarding. My healthcare background means I am confident recognising when a child is unwell and responding appropriately in emergency situations.

I have a strong academic background and am happy to support children with homework, reading, and schoolwork where needed. I am patient, encouraging, and understand how to build children’s confidence in their learning in a calm and supportive way.

I also have experience supporting individuals with additional needs, including autism and communication difficulties, and I adapt my approach to suit each child’s individual needs.

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

My rates are fair and can be discussed depending on hours, number of children, and responsibilities required. I am happy to find an arrangement that works well for both the family and myself.
