About Me

Hi, my name is Tracey.

I am a retired NHS nurse and experienced nanny available for:

ad hoc childcare (nannying / daytime baby-sitting / after school pick-ups).

Up to 3 hours per shift / up to 3 days per week.

I have grown up children and feel that my caring nature is calling me back to those lovely times. I enjoy seeing children thrive, reading and playing with them, arts and crafts, baking and preparing healthy meals and being outdoors too.

I love spending time with young children and babies, and have a innate rapport with them.

I have volunteered in local schools / nurseries playing and listening to the children reading, which was rewarding and fun.

I am enhanced DBS checked and have competed numerous first aid courses (adult and children).

I enjoy cycling, walking and being outside with nature. I also enjoy gardening.

Full driving licence and car.

My Experience

Since 2022 I have been working as a part-time nanny, taking care of a number of children, ranging from 6 months to 4 years of age.

This has involved; first and foremost child-led play and having fun, preparing food, trips out, planning activities for indoors and outdoors, reading, developing fine motor skills, colouring, painting and pencil control, craft activities, speech and language activities, confidence building, singing and music sessions, potty training / toileting.

I have an extensive library of books and toy resources.

I was a parent governor at a local school and provided regular cover in the pre-school, looking after children aged 2 to 4 years.

My Qualifications

I am a qualified nurse (RGN), with a wide experience in the medical field. This has included running and working on general medical / surgical wards, paediatric wards, hospital clinics, hospices and working autonomously as a community nurse.

My Availability

Available immediately. Ad-hoc 3 mornings or afternoons per week.
