Looking for a Brazilian nanny/housekeeper — 20 to 25 hours per week — starting October 1st
About Me
Hello,
I am the mom of a lovely 5 year old girl and am looking for a new nanny/housekeeper to work with our family. We have had a wonderful person with us for 5 years, but she is moving back to Brazil, so we are hoping to find someone trustworthy, kind, responsible and organised to start on October 1st.
My Requirements
Main responsibilities:
* Picking up my 5-year-old daughter from school and giving her a bath
* Play with her / Give her activities when needed
* Preparing dinner for the family and cleaning/organising the kitchen afterwards
* Doing a full house clean 1 to 2 times per week
* Keeping the house organised day to day, including putting clothes away, tidying the living room, washing/putting away dishes and small household maintenance tasks
* Occasionally going to the supermarket to buy items we may have run out of, flowers or other small household items
* Helping with household errands, such as picking up or dropping off parcels at the post office, taking donations to charity shops, and helping with packing/unpacking before or after trips
* Flexibility for occasional extra hours would be a plus, for example for date nights or when one of the parents is travelling
Important: We are looking for someone Brazilian who speaks Brazilian Portuguese and ideally has intermediate English. Previous experience with children and references would be a plus.
Hours: approximately 20 to 25 hours per week. Ideally from 3:30pm to 8:00pm daily.
We are looking for someone caring, proactive, organised, who enjoys being around children and would like to become part of our family’s routine.
If you are interested or know someone who might be, please send me a private message. Thank you!
