About Me
hi!
I'm a professional nanny looking for my next opportunity. I have over 9 years experience working for a variety of clientele in many different settings, from commercial settings to private residential.
Im currently looking for a lovely family to nanny for close to/ around the camberley area.
preferably around 25-30h/ week.
I also provide occasional evenings and daytime services.
I love creative activities, baking and anything outdoorsy! I often incorporate these things in day to day activities for children.
I'm very excited for new opportunities!
My Experience
Please see below details of some of my long term nanny positions:
PRIVATE NANNY:
I was working as a private nanny for a child who was 14 months (at start date) on a part time basis. I was in charge of all aspects of nurturing & care giving, and often travel with the child for developmental activities, such as the park & imagination play, amongst other things. I will also conduct activities at home, to provide development opportunities, and nurture a healthy environment.
NANNY HOUSEKEEPER:
Alongside my other position, I was working as a nanny with light house keeping duties. My role involves all aspects of childcare for the little boy who was 14 months (at start date). This includes, but not limited to, preparing organic and fresh meals, planning outings, conducting stimulating activities at home and ensuring his health, happiness and wellbeing. I also keep note of his day, nappy changes, meals, nap times e.g, on ‘Google Sheets’ which is shared with parents to keep them up to date and informed as the day progresses.
My housekeeping duties consist of: hovering, mopping, emptying/ loading the dishwasher, washing up, cleaning kitchen counter tops, food shopping and putting away, emptying kitchen bins and nappy bins, stocking the nappy drawer, organising/ packing bags for nursery or travel, organisation of toys, putting away laundry, occasional food prep for the family and occasionally taking their beloved dog to the groomers.
PRIVATE NANNY (With DOG/HOUSE sitting and TRAVEL):
I began working as a full time nanny for a family, looking after one child. When I began, he was 6 months old, so I was with him supporting his development throughout his key stages of early years. I engaged in multiple activities with the child, including external soft play sessions, role play sessions, sensory activities, physical activities and amongst many other things. I was also in charge of all aspects of his daily routine, ensuring he was fed balanced meals in line with his allergens and dietary requirements, remaining vigilant to ensure his food was correct for the child and his circumstances, and doing household chores related to the child. I also travelled with the family as and when required, being flexible around the needs of the family, often working extra hours in the evenings or weekends to support.
This position also required occasional dog/house sitting whenever the family were traveling- sometimes up to a month at the most. I'd ensure the security and general cleanliness of the house whilst also caring for their two lovely dogs. Feeding regularly and walking them every day- also providing lots of affection!
I have now left this position due to the family moving to live in the USA, where I travelled and worked for three weeks to support the move for the family and the child, and unfortunately all leads suggested by the family are not viable for me with travel.
I've had a few months experience in a nursery setting but decided my love for nannying was the profession I really wanted to continue into.
I have been a babysitter for 7+ years and have previously worked with a childminder for 2-3 years.
I have completed 250+ hours in a nursery placement as part of my level 2 qualification in early years. This course is assessed through assignments, professional discussions and observations in the work place. This course has allowed my confidence to grow immensely!
whilst I have specific experience with 4m-4 years, I do have experience with children of all ages.
Please feel free to contact me for my CV which will explain MUCH further about my experience as it is not limited to the above and very extensive.

Abbie is brilliant and has looked after my 13 month old on several occasions. Abbie has a lovely, natural way with him & my son smiles from ear to ear when Abbie arrives! Too cute! Abbie is always on time and tries to help me whenever I ask.

Abbie has babysat for us on a few occasions, one time at very short notice! She always turns up on time and my daughter loves having her. They made play dough the last time and baking is planned for the next time!
My daughters words are that Abbie is fun to play with, kind, caring and gives great cuddles.
