About Me
I’m currently a student midwife and am due to complete my degree by the end of October.
I’ll be starting part-time work within the next few weeks while completing my remaining placement hours, so I’m looking for reliable childcare for my two girls that can work around my shifts.
Once qualified, I plan to seek work as a midwife, so I’m hoping to find a childcare arrangement that could potentially continue longer term with similar shift patterns and hours.
My Requirements
I homeschool my 6-year-old daughter, Trinity, and I also have a 16-month-old daughter, Eden, who has been at home with us. Ideally, I would love to find someone who can care for them together while I’m working my shifts.
For Trinity, I would treat these as relaxed, fun days rather than formal home-education days, so I wouldn’t expect you to provide any educational teaching. She would be very happy joining in with whatever activities you already have planned for the other children, playing independently, or working through some of the homeschool workbooks we provide.
I believe I am eligible for support with childcare costs through the Universal Credit childcare costs element (up to 85% of eligible registered childcare costs) and/or the government-funded childcare hours for Eden, subject to the childcare provider and arrangement meeting the relevant eligibility requirements.
I’m looking for a warm, reliable childcare arrangement where both of my girls can feel happy, comfortable and cared for while I’m at work.

I will not go into details regarding my interactions with Rachel and her family, but I am left in tears and in shock that I left my daughter with people like this. I’m extremely uncomfortable to write this but I’m more uncomfortable with the lies I have been told and I don’t think it is right for people with this character and nature to be looking after our most valuable and vulnerable. My daughter is everything to me and after the way I have been treated; I am sick to my stomach to think how she was treated when she was there. Was this all a charade? I am just glad I don’t have to send my daughter back there.
