Student Midwife Needing Help 🌸
About Me
I am a student midwife returning to placement for the next 6 months and desperately needing a helping hand with my 8 month old and 5 year old daughters.
My partner is relocating to Ireland soon and it will be the three of us here managing the remainder of my degree.
My Requirements
Due to the change in family circumstances I feel the least impact on the girls will be working nights.
I will be needing overnight care for the girls for 2 nights a week.
My hours are 730pm-0800am.
Our 5 year olds sleeps well through the night from around 8pm. Rarely wakes.
Our 8 month olds has 1 bottle before bed at 7/8pm and 1 around 6am.
She uses her pacifier in the night.
She needs rocking to sleep and will settle on her own once down.
I will be paying you via my student finance funding so you will need to be linked via the Childcare Grant Payment Service.
I currently do not have set days but can request once we have someone secured with our family. My university are flexible. I cannot however do 2 consecutive nights as I need to sleep in between shifts.
We would love you to spend some days with us over the next few weeks for the girls to get to know you and then do some trial nights while my partner is still around.
All fully paid of course ?

I will not go into details regarding my interactions with Rachel and her family, but I am left in tears and in shock that I left my daughter with people like this. I’m extremely uncomfortable to write this but I’m more uncomfortable with the lies I have been told and I don’t think it is right for people with this character and nature to be looking after our most valuable and vulnerable. My daughter is everything to me and after the way I have been treated; I am sick to my stomach to think how she was treated when she was there. Was this all a charade? I am just glad I don’t have to send my daughter back there.
