About Me
Im a single parent to my lovely 17 year old daughter. We have a 2yr old cat called Syd. My interests are walking, cooking, art, Macramé, reading and I am plant obsessed.
My Experience
At present I support a family with an autistic 11 year old, doing household chores/cooking and caring for the 12 yr old girl one and a half days a week. I support the family of 4 as a whole and give respite to mum aswell as her daughter. I’m a TA at her school 3 days a week, hence my availability being in school holidays only.
I have worked with children since I was 17, firstly in Bristol (my home town) then I spent 18 months with a family in America, then over 12 years nannying with various families in London. I have had experience with all ages children from 6 months to teenage years. After 7 years with the same family I then moved back to Bristol with my then partner. I carried on Nannying with a family in Bath until I had my own baby. I then took a position with a one year old and took my own daughter (now 16) to this job with me for 3 years. I’ve since had my own cleaning business for ten years, been a carer for my late father and now look after children again.
I am trustworthy, honest & patient. I am practical & creative & I have the initiative to develop projects and activities to engage a child. I work to build trust with children & aim to create a caring & loving environment so children will feel safe and happy when in my care. I love doing arts and craft and baking.
I’m good at organising tasks & aim to (& have been told that I do) bring calm and harmony to the busiest & chaotic of households. I’m flexible with my time so am always happy to help out with extra hours when possible.
I’m a safe & experienced driver & hold a clean driving licence. I’m also insured to take children in my car.
My Qualifications
I have a wealth of experience, with years of working as a Nanny for many lovely families, with children of all ages. I have excellent references from many families that I work for present and past and from current babysitting families.
My Availability
I’m available throughout school holidays on various days so if you need ad hoc childcare then please get in touch.
Please Note: I am not available for term time nannying just school holidays throughout the year.
Also available for evening babysitting.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
From £15 per hour for daytime nannying
