My Experience

I have always loved looking after children and have always became the person that has the most children around them.
I have recently became an aunty to a little boy who is 7months old and have been looking after him since he was a newborn as my sister is a single mother.
Tasks;
Feeding bottles
Nappy changed
Washing bottles
Preparing food
Playing with toys
Going on walks
Bedtime routine
Cleaning
Overnight bottles/nappy

I have previously did work experience twice at chapel green school for learning disability children, the tasks I followed out was that the students I supported were able to engage in learning and stay on task during the lesson and supporting when finding this slightly difficult.
I’ve looked after my friends children ages 6 and 4 for many of years, following simply tasks of cooking, playing outside, going on bike rides, playing games and so much more.
I feel my natural ability to connect with children is what I believe makes me an ideal candidate for any role within childcare.
