Hi there! I’m Roxy, a proud mum to a 5.5-year-old girl, and I live in Wallingford. With 13 years in childcare, including my time as a nanny, I've been a registered childminder for 2.5 years now at Roxy’s Little Dots.
I’m a kind, caring, and fun-loving person who’s dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for every child in my care, treating them just like I would want my own child to be treated. I’m mature, responsible, and cheerful, with strong childcare and interpersonal skills.
Currently, I'm also studying child mental health and well-being to enhance my knowledge and skills further.
My Experience
Previous Nanny Jobs:
Over the years I have looked after many children ranging from newborns/twins to young teenagers.
I also worked within a nursery for 2 years. I was room leader with the 2-3 year olds, being in charge of the day to day running of the room, staff and the children's daily activities and each child’s individual needs, I also gained experience in all other age groups, covering all rooms.
My Qualifications
- CACHE Level 3 in NVQ in Children’s Care,Learning and Development.
- CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Children’s Care, Learning And Development.
- Advanced Apprenticeship in Children's Care, Learning and Development
- Dedication to Learning Award.
- Safeguarding Training (Oxfordshire Safeguarding Care (OSCB) working in partnership with NSPCC).
- Paediatric (Advanced First Aid)
I have an up to date first aid certificate, DBS check, health and hygiene certificate and food technology
