About Me
I’m a trainee librarian who has worked in childcare in various professions for 5+ years, with children aged 6 months to 11.
I’m looking for the occasional weekend or weeknight evening of babysitting but am open to a regular 1 evening a week for the right family! I’m bubbly, reliable and have a passion for cooking. As you might expect from a librarian, I adore reading and love to share that with the children I care for! I’m happy to cook and/or prep packed lunches for the next day. I work 9-5, Monday-Friday so please note that I’m not generally able to cover those hours. If you’re looking for someone to babysit while you have a date night, run some errands, or get some work done for a few hours, please get in touch. ??
My Experience
I have worked at an after school club since 2020, with children aged 4-11. I have nannied a baby girl (6-9 months) in summer of 2022, as well as a 15-18 month old in summer of 2023. In 2024 I worked with various children between 5 months and 11 years.
My Qualifications
I have paediatric first aid training
I recently graduated from the University of York

Bryony has watched our baby several times now and has always done a great job! She has been so flexible, willing to watch her either at our home or out in our local town, which has given us the space to get projects done at home. She patiently worked to connect with our daughter, who is going through a clingy phase, and is always very sweet with her. We are selfishly sorry she is now away at uni but will definitely contact her if we need babysitting again when she is home on holiday!

Bry has been looking after my daughter from May. Like the title says she is both kind and responsible and goes out of her way to make sure that my baby is taken care of and her development is in progress. My baby's development and wellbeing has improved after Bry came into her life and I wish Bry all the best for her future!
