Heiditin
Childminder in Chislehurst
My Summary
Heidi, Tiney And Me
About Me
I believe children learn best through play, observation and curiosity. I create spaces where every child feels they belong. Parent of two, passionate about cultural heritage, storytelling and helping children (and adults!) feel confident asking big questions.
Before becoming a childminder, I spent 12 years in e-commerce as a Graphic and Web Designer, working with heritage brands like M&S, Mulberry and House of Fraser. My background in design and photography means I bring a creative eye to documenting your child's learning journey, through beautiful images and thoughtful observations.
Becoming a mum of two shifted my priorities. The pandemic taught me the value of resilience, presence, and what really matters. Now I channel that professional experience into creating spaces where children feel curious, safe and seen.
Daily updates and photos so you're part of the journey. Regular visits to local playgroups and libraries. And above all, a home that feels like an extension of yours.
I chose childminding because I want to create an environment where every child feels they belong. Your home is mine, and your child's well-being is my priority.
I can't wait to welcome you both.
My Experience
I create spaces where children feel safe, loved and inspired to explore. My setting is built on play-based learning with natural materials and open-ended resources that spark imagination. Whether we're exploring our garden, visiting local parks, or engaging in physical play, I focus on the whole child, their curiosity, confidence and sense of belonging.
I love learning about different cultures and bringing that passion into daily practice. We celebrate our differences through stories, songs and community involvement, helping every child feel they matter.
As a tiney registered childminder, I'm fully trained in the EYFS and committed to the highest standards of safety and safeguarding. I combine professional care with a genuine, home-from-home approach where every child belongs.
