Hello! My name is Laia, and I’m from Barcelona. I have over four years of experience in childcare, starting my journey as an au pair and gradually transitioning into nannying. Having grown up with a brother who has autism, I understand how patience and empathy are core to child’s development.
For me, supporting a child’s growth is about creating an environment where they feel heard, understood, and loved as they learn.
My Experience
I began my childcare journey in 2018 as an au pair, where I had the privilege of living with a wonderful host family for a full year. This experience was incredibly rewarding, allowing me to bond with the children and provide them with a stable and loving environment.
In 2019, I decided to move areas and therefore, to a new family, where I spent another two years creating meaningful connections and supporting the children's growth and development.
In 2021, I expanded my experience by offering babysitting services to local families. This not only allowed me to build a network of amazing parents but also helped me gain more flexibility and variety in the types of childcare I could provide.
Currently, I work as an after-school nanny in the Hampstead area.
My Qualifications
I have DBS check. I have also completed an English advanced (top-up) course in order to improve my skills.
My Availability
My Fees
- Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)
I usually work within £18 to £25pm given my experience and references.
