Hi!
I’m 22 and currently living in Wingham. I’m in my second year at university studying Psychology, with the long-term goal of becoming a primary school teacher.
I’ve always loved being around children and grew up in a big family with seven siblings. Helping care for my younger siblings is what really sparked my interest in nannying and childcare. My little sister has learning difficulties (including a hearing impairment and delayed speech), which has helped me develop a lot of patience and understanding, and taught me how important it is to support each child in a way that works for them.
After school, I took three gap years travelling around Thailand and living in Australia, which helped me become very independent, confident, and adaptable. I also hold a TEFL certificate and enjoy supporting learning in a fun, relaxed way. Alongside my studies, I currently work as a barista, so I’m reliable, organised, and used to juggling responsibility.
I’m caring, friendly, and easy-going, and I really enjoy building positive relationships with children and families. I’d love to work as a nanny to gain more hands-on experience while working towards my future career in primary education.
My Experience
While living in Australia, I worked as a nanny, caring for children in a home setting. This included supporting daily routines, preparing meals, engaging in play and activities, and helping create a calm, safe, and positive environment. This experience helped me become confident working independently with children and building trusting relationships with families.
I hold a TEFL certificate and have experience supporting children’s learning in a fun, encouraging, and age-appropriate way. I’m confident helping with early learning, reading, language development, and homework support, and enjoy making learning feel relaxed rather than pressured.
My Qualifications
Full driving licence and a TEFL certificate. I am also in the process of gaining my BA psychology degree!

I have university during the week, however I am aiming to work around my timetable!
