I have experience caring for children of all ages, including newborns and children with additional needs. I understand that every child is different, so I take the time to get to know their personality and make sure they feel happy, settled and supported. I also know that every family has their own way of doing things, so I’m always happy to adapt to your parenting style and your child’s individual needs.
Parents often tell me they feel at ease leaving their children with me because I’m calm, patient and easy to communicate with. Many of the families I work with have continued to book me over the years, which is something I’m incredibly grateful for.
I’m fully DBS checked and currently offer flexible daytime, evening, weekend and short notice babysitting. My goal is always to make sure your little ones feel safe, have fun and look forward to seeing me again, while giving you complete confidence that they’re in good hands.

My Experience
I started my childcare journey as a Childminder’s Assistant, caring for children aged 0 to 4 years. My role included planning fun and educational activities, preparing meals and bottles, changing nappies, supporting toilet training, supervising play and helping children follow their daily routines in a safe and nurturing environment.
Since then, I’ve continued babysitting for private families and have cared for children from newborns through to teenagers. I’ve looked after one family since their little one was just three months old and have had the pleasure of watching him grow over the years. I also began supporting another family when their baby was only two weeks old and continue to care for their children today.
As families have got to know me, they’ve trusted me with even more responsibility, including travelling with them on family holidays and, in some cases, accompanying children on international journeys. Being trusted with something so important is something I never take for granted.
Alongside babysitting, I’ve also worked as a Support Worker for young people and adults with additional needs. That experience has helped me become even more patient, adaptable and confident supporting people with different needs.

- Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
£16.00 per hour (4 hour minimum)
Emergency bookings: £18.00 per hour
Overnight babysitting: £90.00 flat rate

Abbie has helped with our son since he was just 3months. He’s now nearly four and Abbie is definitely considered apart of our family, she is super attentive and caring and she always goes the extra mile for us, we know she truly cares and we hope to maintain a relationship with Abbie for many many years into the future.

Abbie has looked after my baby from 9 months to now one years old. She is really great with her and my daughter is at ease with Abbie! I never feel anxious leaving my baby with her, she's fed well, and napped well by the time I get home. Highly recommend!

Finding someone who can create a sense of comfort when it comes to entrusting your child's well-being is no small feat. Luckily, I had the pleasure of discovering Abbie, an extraordinary babysitter. When my son was just 8 weeks old, I reached out to Abbie to watch over him while my partner and I were away, and she exceeded all expectations.
