My Requirements

We are looking for a Nanny to join us from July or early August 2026 (date to be confirmed):

Key duties are to include the following:

1) Physical care of our sons whilst we work (we both work predominantly from home);
2) Engaging / playing. Physical and social stimulation. Encouraging intellectual growth by using age-appropriate toys (like contrast books etc)
3) Daily walks and attending local club;
4) Changing and bathing as needed - we are potty training our 2 year old at the moment;
5) Researching and attending local baby groups;
6) Tidying up baby’s room, including doing baby’s laundry (starting the washing machine and dryer
etc.)
7) Feeding and preparing food.

Key skills/requirements:

1) Prior experience of teaching/assisting in an educational background, i.e. Montessori nursery
2) Previous Nanny experience
3) First Aid qualification
4) Driving licence (although not a must)
5) Local to Chiswick
6) No allergies to cats
7) References
8) Minimum of three years resident in the UK
9) DBS checked
10) Sense of humour!

Hours of work/Pay:

We currently have a part-time nanny but are seeking another part-time nanny so we have cover on a full-time basis. Please note we are not in a position to have other children bought into the home.

The pattern we require is:
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 11:45 - 7 pm
- ?Saturdays 8 am - 7 pm
- ?Wednesdays and Sundays off
That’s 40 hours in total and there will be possibility for extra hours.

During school holidays we will need support on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 8 am - 7 pm taking the total hours to 52.

This position will be employed on a PAYE basis and will provide 20 days holiday per annum (pro rata). Salary is dependent upon experience.

Some interviews may be carried out by our PA and shortlisted candidates then invited to our home for an introduction to the family.
