About Me
I’m Emily, and I have a passion for working with children. I am caring and approachable, and I enjoy creating a fun and safe environment for kids.
I previously worked at Vinehall School as a Year 3 Teaching Assistant and within the PE department so have experience supporting children both in the classroom and through sports and activities. This gave me valuable experience working with children of different ages, personalities, and abilities.
Alongside this, I have experience babysitting children aged 1 and above and am comfortable adapting to different family routines and individual needs. I have also worked as an after school nanny which included school pick ups, drop offs to activities, helping with homework and light cooking! I have also worked as an au pair for families in both France and Australia, caring for children while becoming part of family life and supporting day to day routines. I also volunteered in a school in Namibia for 3 months!
I am available for evening and weekend babysitting, whether that involves creative activities, outdoor play, helping with homework, or bedtime routines, I am happy to cater to whatever help you need.
I have my own car, hold a full UK driving licence, and am based in Battle.
I also love all animals and am comfortable around pets, especially dogs, so I am more than happy to help in households with animals/ can offer house sitting too!
My Experience
I previously worked at Vinehall School as a year 3 TA and in the P.E department. Worked as a private afterschool nanny for a family. This included school pick ups and drop offs, help with reading and homework and light cooking. I also have experience babysitting various children aged 1+. I have Au Paired for a family in France and Australia and volunteered in a school in Namibia.
My Qualifications
Whilst I worked at Vinehall, I had several DBS checks, attended first aid training courses and accessed a wide range of different activities / trips so my experience is quite diverse!
My Availability
I am available on the weekends and the occasional weekday evening too
