Fantastic home-from-home childminder

We feel incredibly lucky to have had Sofia as our childminder. She cared for our two sons from the ages of one to three, and from the very beginning it truly felt like a home-from-home environment. The warmth, love, and attention she provided made such a difference to both of them during those early years.

Sofia created a wonderful balance of fun, learning, and exploration. The boys enjoyed so many fantastic experiences, from trips to the farm and local parks to visits to libraries and even adventures into London. It was so reassuring to know they were not only being well cared for, but also given such enriching opportunities.

During their time with Sofia, both boys developed strong academic foundations alongside important emotional and social skills. She supported their early learning in such a natural, engaging way, while also helping them grow in confidence, independence, and kindness. It has truly set them up brilliantly for the next stage of their journey.

I always felt completely confident leaving them in Sofia’s care. She provided a safe, nurturing environment where they were clearly happy, secure, and thriving. That peace of mind as a parent is truly invaluable.
Although we didn’t live particularly close to Sofia’s home, the level of care, trust, and dedication she showed made the journey worthwhile every single day.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sofia to anyone looking for a childminder. It was a very emotional time for all of us when the boys moved on to preschool, which really speaks volumes about the bond they built with her. We will always be grateful for the care she gave our children.
